Hyperthermia,<\/span> Oncothermia and Cancer Treatment<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Hyperthermia or thermotherapy is a type of cancer treatment in which the body\u2019s tissues are subjected to heating, with the aim of selectively causing damage to cancer cells.<\/span><\/p>

Oncothermia is the most modern form of hyperthermia. It is a recognized medical practice in all countries of the European Union, the United States and all medically advanced countries. It has flourished in recent years in Japan, China and Korea.<\/span><\/p>

Oncothermia differs from other therapies in that it stimulates the immune system against cancer, while all other therapies suppress it.<\/span><\/p>

Oncothermia is completely painless, without complications and side effects, and it is also completely safe because it does not use ionization radiation. It uses a dense alternating electric field, correctly configured to stimulate the cell membrane with nanoparticles. These stimulated nanoparticles cause the cancer cell to die in a natural way, called apoptosis.<\/span><\/p>

The beneficial biological effects of Onco-hyperthermia are:<\/span><\/p>

\u2022 Forcing cancer cells into apoptosis (programmed cell death).
\u2022 Increasing the effectiveness of radiation-therapy (by improving oxygenation).
\u2022 Increasing the effectiveness of chemo-therapy (by increasing blood flow, and thus the bioavailability of the drug).

Local-regional oncothermia<\/span><\/h4>

Local heating of tumor or the tumor region is achieved.<\/span><\/p>

The most modern oncothermia devices do not simply cause overheating of the tumor area, like with conventional hyperthermia. They achieve an almost absolute focus of the delivered energy inside the tumor (at the cellular level), which leads to an increase in the temperature of the cell membrane and cell death.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Whole body hyperthermia<\/h4>

Whole Body Hyperthermia involves heating the entire body for therapeutic purposes. This treatment is increasingly used by university hospitals in Europe and the United States for cancer and other diseases, such as AIDS, Lyme disease, and autoimmune disorders.<\/p>

Whole body hyperthermia is now a very valuable part of personalized oncology. The purpose of whole body hyperthermia is to replicate the beneficial effects of fever. When body temperatures are raised to 40-41\u00b0C for 1-2 hours, it is considered extreme hyperthermia, while at temperatures of 39-40\u00b0C for 4-8 hours, it is considered moderate hyperthermia.<\/p>

Whole body hyperthermia is always combined with chemotherapy, immune stimulation therapy, and other adjunctive treatments. The logic behind the method is that cancer cells are more sensitive to heat than healthy cells, that heating to the fever level stimulates all aspects of the immune system, and that high temperatures enhance the action of other treatments, especially chemotherapy and immune stimulation therapy. Whole body hyperthermia is now increasingly accepted as an effective, non-toxic therapeutic medical practice that complements immune stimulation therapy, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy, enhancing their effectiveness.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
