From the very beginning, the individual tergeted therapy and cells therapies are topics in focus of Biomed.

In cooperation with Dr. Alfred J. Barich, an eminent oncologist from the USA, we have begun developing Integrative Oncology and Molecular therapies for various types of cancer.

During the time, we develope individual tergeted therapies, achieving increasingly better results in patient treatments. That's why at the beginning of 2014, we started a cooperation with one of the largest laboratories in the world, in the field of diagnostics of oncological diseases, R.G.C.C. (Research Genetic Cancer Center) from Zug, Switzerland. Their capacities in the field of molecular profiling of malignant diseases are unlimited. We became so deeply involved in the core of this issue that we eventually became the official representatives of the R.G.C.C. laboratories for the Balkan region. Since the beginning of June 2014, all molecular therapies for our patients have been produced in this laboratory. The procedure for collecting samples, transporting that to the laboratory, and then delivering the ready therapies to Thessaloniki adheres to the highest safety standards.

Considering that our interest for developing therapies procedures never stop, in cooperation with scientists from Switzerland, we discovered that it is possible to produce molecular therapy with pluripotent stem cells which can be applied in the treatment of autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis, lupus, and others. At the beginning of 2015, we very successfully began actively treating patients with these types of diseases.

Part of our interest also includes the possibility of non-invasive prenatal detection of the risk of developing a disease, such as Down's syndrome in newborns, simply by examining the mother's peripheral blood.

The results we have achieved so far in all areas of our work continue to motivate us to pursue pioneering efforts in diagnostics and treatment - with the ultimate target of making these therapies accessible to patients across the Balkan region.

Throughout this time, Biomed Aid has been operating successfully and providing treatments in Thessaloniki for patients from around the world.

With the establishment of Bimed Oncothermia in 2024, Biomed Aid became part of the Biomed Group, and continues to develop and advance by introducing the latest treatment methods into its protocols.
